| I just wanted everyone
in the world to know what our Father did for our family. In June
of 2001, I was 8 mos pregnant with our second daughter, and my husband
Ed was only 25. We found out he had a stage 3 colon cancer, which
is almost unheard of at his age. They operated and took out part
of his colon, and found out it was in 1/3 of the surrounding lymph nodes.
He recieved chemotherapy for almost 8mos. In March of 2003, the cancer
was back, and he had a massive lymph node tumor that killed his left kidney
and grew into his small intestine. We were told it was inoperable.
I dropped to my knees and started praying, and then the phone rang.
It was a surgeon who said he would be willing to try to operate, otherwise
they would have just put him on painkillers and watched him die.
He gave us a 50/50 chance at removing all the cancer. We were saved
in March of 2003, and recieved the Lord in our lives. Our Church
believes God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and never doubted
his healing. His symptoms were back in August of 2003, so we left
our little girls with family and traveled to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.
We prayed to God to see if it was what he wanted us to do, and we had the
sign when our surgeon gave us money for the trip, which doctors usually
just don't do. We found out he had non operable tumors all in his
chest, and large ones in his abdomen. He started aggressive chemotherapy,
and our Church continued to pray, as we did. He started refusing
chemo in December, when the ct scan came up clear. Then about a month
later, he had read his healing scriptures, which he did nightly, and something
happened. He layed in bed and got a strange warm/hot feeling all
over his body. This was something he'd never felt before. Then his voice
came back completely, which had been very hoarse from the chest tumors
blocking his airway since May, and his tests have all been clear, and we
firmly believe God has completely healed him of cancer. He feels
great, is up to 205lbs, from 155 when we went to Mayo. We want everyone
to know that God doesn't want any of his children sick, and that he never
makes us sick, but sometimes lets us go through things to make us the people
he wants us to be. Please share our miracle story! Our girls,
who are now 6 1/2, and almost 3, will now get to grow up with their father!
God Bless You!
Thanks for hearing our story! Eddie and Jessica M
